What is TREŽ?

TREŽ stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, a fast, highly effective method of trauma and long term stress recovery. It is a body based modality that initiates a deep muscle release through the nervous system in a safe and simple way.

TRE consists of six simple exercises that help individuals release tension from the muscles, which in turn relaxes the anxiety of our minds, by evoking a muscular shaking process in the body.

 

Who can Benefit from TREŽ?

This natural process of release makes TREŽ available and beneficial for everyone whether you are suffering from mild stress or deep seated trauma. TREŽ increases the resilience of the body through deep relaxation, naturally reducing stress and anxiety levels.

Additionally, TREŽ has been reported to reduce pain, increase mobility and aid in the healing of past injuries.

Who created TREŽ?

Dr. David Berceli is the creator of Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE).

David has spent two decades living and working in nine countries providing trauma relief workshops and designing recovery programs for international organizations around the world. He has lived and worked extensively in Israel/Palestine, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Yemen, Egypt, and Lebanon.

David continues to be involved in trauma recovery programs, not solely for the sake of reducing the suffering caused by trauma but because he has recognized globally that trauma possesses unique possibilities of transformation in the individual, if they pursue their recovery process to its ultimate end.

6 WEEK TRE GROUP COURSE:

If you feel stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, tired or suffered traumatic events in your life this course is for you. You will learn a simple technique that helps your body release stress or tension that has accumulated from day-to-day life experiences, immediate or ongoing stressful situations, and traumatic life events. A set of simple exercises invokes a mild tremor which helps bring the nervous system back to a state of calm and balance. Once learned TRE is a gentle and effective self-healing tool.
